Often your client's cargo isn't carried by your own truck. A subcontractor is set up once — it's the same supplier as in purchasing, with the same ICE — and their record holds their trucks, drivers and papers.

Three numbers that are never blended: reliability, from their document dates; punctuality, from the time windows of the trips they run for you; and stars, the dispatcher's opinion. An empty document folder doesn't mean "all fine", it means "unknown" — so it's a dash, not a hundred percent.

An expired framework contract costs the partner reliability points, but it doesn't stop the truck. An expired insurance policy on their truck, though, is your liability under your client's cargo. The system will reject that assignment, just as it would for your own vehicle.

The partner takes the place of your tractor unit and driver on the trip leg. The agreed price is the expectation; the real cost arrives with their bill.

And the "agreed versus billed" reconciliation does, for the month, the subtraction nobody was doing. There's no threshold: even one centime is a discrepancy. Plus five hundred on one line — the carrier is asking for more; plus five hundred spread over several lines — usually waiting time or a ferry. Two different phone calls.

When a partner's papers are about to expire, the product can write to them itself — but that's off by default: the email goes out in your company's name, so you switch it on.

Someone else's truck on your trip — with the same requirements as your own.
